No one, Satan was an angel, and even with a fallen nature is much more powerful and intelligent than any human being.
Alternate Viewpoint:St. Jerome (a/k/a Hieronymus), who purportedly translate The Bible from the original tongues into Latin. Legend has it he did so alone in a cave and was tormented by Satan who insisted that Jerome teach him the scriptures presumably for strategic purposes.
From the description in the Scriptures, such as the temptations of Christ, Satan has a will and purpose, as well as the ability to quote Scripture. These are not characteristics of an impersonal force but of a personal being, such as a fallen angel. Note that Satan does not have to have a body to have these characteristics.
The only Scripture in written form was the Old Testament.
The Hebrew Scriptures predicted a coming Messiah. People either were taught, heard or read these Scriptures (Old Testament)
Timothy as seen in 2 Timothy 3:15.
The Satan Deluder Act was made in to law in 1647 and required that children (boys in community schools and girls in "dame"/homeschools) be taught to read [and write] so that they may read from and understand the scriptures (the Bible)and live wholesome, productive lives. It was thought that the Bible was the major source of higher thought and intellectualism until the era of post-modernism in the mid 1700's.
5aPray always, that you may come off bconqueror; yea, that you may conquer Satan, and that you may cescape the hands of the servants of Satan that do uphold his work.
he was teaching about non violence
The scriptures make no mention of such a thing happening. Considering that Satan seeks to gain the worship of all people (Isaiah 14:14), it's highly doubtful he would ever bow to anyone. If he asked Jesus to do an act of worship to him (Matthew 4:9), it shows you just what kind of mindset the Devil has. (New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures)
John Calvin taught that the authority of the scriptures should be followed. His teaching emphasized that god was a powerful being.
Though it is evident that Satan i.e Son of the Morning had some responsibility before he fell, the scriptures give no indication as to what they were. It neither gives any indication that someone replaced him. Knowing that the organization in heaven is perfect I assume that his position was filled.
It is not have an end...never! they are both the same, you cannot think or believe only in one of them...Light and Darkness is our insticts!!! According to Jesus and the Christian Scriptures, Satan is ever present, trying to turn us away from God. Therefore we must be continually on guard. The Scriptures also tell us that our bodies are 'temples of the Holy Spirt ' the third person of the Holy Trinity' who is God. So it may be concluded that God fights Satan constantly through us. God doesn't really battle against Satan per se. As a created being, Satan is subservient to God just as we are. Like many of us, Satan choses not to follow God or to obey Him. Satan strives to hurt God but cannot do so, so Satan goes after those who are born-again members of God's family. Believers battle against Satan using the spiritual tools given by God. At the end of Satan's career there will be "battle in heaven" with God's holy angels doing battle against Satan and the fallen angels. Satan will be cast out of heaven and his sphere will be limited to earth. These are called the end times. At Christ's second coming Satan will be bound by an angel and cast into a pit for a thousand years. After this time Satan will be set free for a short time and then be cast by Christ into the Lake of Fire for eternity. I guess it's fair to say that God battles Satan through believers and through His angels. God could eliminate Satan at any time of His choosing, but He allows Satan to go about his disobedience to a degree. Satan can do only as much as God allows. Look at Job chapter 1 for a good example.
The scriptures give no account of Abel having any children. Then there is no account that he did not get married and have children. As a point of interest the account of Cain and Abel is there to let us know that it is easy to follow the Lord, just as easy as it is to follow Satan. As we are all carnally minded Satan has great power over the earth.
