Moses told Pharaoh to let the people go free ten times.
God instructed Moses to go to Pharaoh and demand the release of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. He was to tell Pharaoh, "Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the wilderness."
The Israelites had been oppressed by the Egyptians for over 400 years. When God sent 10 plagues over Egypt, pharaoh let the Israelites go.......but not for long. He quickly changed his mind and pursued them. The Israelites were scared and asked, "Were there not enough graves in Egypt that the Lord will let us die in the desert?" Moses replied, "Stand firm and you will see the deliverance of the Lord today." Moses then parted the Red Sea and the Israelites went through on try ground. When Pharaoh's army tried to cross, God closed the waters and Pharaohs whole army drowned. They were able to see the deliverance of the Lord.......thats why it's such a big event. B/c of the ten plagues, but then he changed his mind and chased after the isrealites but was killed in the red sea when God dropped the waters on his army.
He said that because the yeast would make rise but it would take too long so he told them not to so it wouldn't rise.
God told Moses to follow his commandments. There was 613 of them.10 of them are the most importante.g. Do not commit adultery ect ect....g*d told Moses to ask Pheroh to let the Jewish nation free.
The Bible tells us that Moses let the Israelites out of slavery and into the promised land. Before this, he was an Egyptian prince.
Many African American spirituals compared the slavery in America to the slavery of the Israelites in the story of Moses. Moses and God repeatedly ask Pharaoh to let the slaves go. Writers of spirituals like this one are also demanding that slaves be freed.
Moses lead the people out of Egypt. andwas the middle man between god and the Israelites.
Then Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh, and said, LORD God of the Hebrews says: 'How long will you refuse to humble thyself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me. Exodus 10: 3

Moses led the Israelites through the desert for more than 40 years, but it was actually Joshua who led them into the Promise Land because Moses had disobeyed God and was forbidden to enter.
