Like, they're the ones who design, develop, and assemble those four-wheeled metal beasts that we all rely on to get us from point A to point B. Automotive technicians are almost like Doctors. Technicians vary in their expertise. You have general mechanics (Technicians) who will work in a shop and do many things, ie brakes, alignments, tune ups etc. You also have technicians who specialize in different areas such as transmissions, brakes, alignments, air conditioning, electrical, etc.......and ONLY work on these things in a specialized shop......
