Nobody tried to shoot him, but police arrested Oscar Ortega-Hernandez in November of 2011 for firing multiple assault rifle rounds into the White House.
He didn't. The president has never tried to shoot anyone, and that includes the queen. By all accounts, the Queen of England and President Obama have a good relationship.
Yes, there have been several instances where white supremacists or people who seemed to be mentally ill tried to carry out an assassination plot, such as an incident in late 2011 when a man named Oscar Ortega-Hernandez made threats and tried to shoot at the White House with an assault rifle. But his and other efforts were not successful and those who made the attempt were arrested.
President Barack H. Obama, II was named after his father, Barack H. Obama, Sr. who was from Kenya and was studying in the US as a foreign exchange student when he married the President's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham. His mother was also named after her father, Stanley Armour Dunham, from Kansas.
No, that is a lie spread by The Democratic party to defame him --------------------- It's actually called the Quoran or Koran. Also, I don't believe the Democratic Party ever tried to "defame" Barack Obama.
he wasn't his brother Rod Blagojevich was and because he did a bunch of illegal stuff
he died in a car accidentHe was killed in an auto accident.Barack Obama's dad, Barack Obama Sr., died of injuries from a car accident in Kenya. The date of his death was November 24th, 1982, he was 46 years old.
He tried to sell the empty senate seat left by Barack Obama
By most accounts, Barack Obama's biological father was not very interested in his son. He left the family when Barack was only two, and Barack only saw him one other time in his life. This always puzzled him-- he even wrote a book about it years, later, "Dreams from My Father," as he tried to understand why his father seemed to have so little desire to play a role in his life. But his mother really encouraged him, read to him, tried to get him to study, and when she could not take care of him because she was working on finishing her education, she arranged for Barack to live with her parents (Barack's grandparents). It was his maternal grandparents who raised him for much of his life. Mr. Obama has said he will always be grateful to his mother and his grandmother for being such important influences on him.
He kept his promise about ending the war in Iraq and bringing the troops home. He kept his promise that if his administration had a chance to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden, they would. And he promised to achieve Health Care Reform, something many other presidents had tried and failed to do.
Yes, there have been several unsuccessful attempts to shoot the president, including one in late 2011 where a deranged man shot at the White House (the president was not there at the time); in all cases, the person making the threat was arrested and the president's life was never really in danger. Sadly, nearly every president has been threatened at one time or other, which is why secret service protection is so important.
While no actual attempts on Obama's life have been made, two neo-Nazi skinheads were recently arrested for planning the murders of eighty-eight black people, the last of whom would have been Barack Obama had their plan succeeded.
I don't know which speaker you are referring to, because when the Oath of Office was given, the Chief Justice absolutely mentioned Mr. Obama's middle name. And it has also been mentioned on other occasions. Mr. Obama inherited that name from his biological father, and he has never tried to hide it. But like most of us, including those who have American-sounding names like John or Michael or Robert, many men do not use their middle name very much. President Obama is no exception-- he generally just uses "Barack Obama."
