Antarctica is used by scientists by way of their governments.
Antarctica.
Antarctica is melting quickly and could disapear soon however lots of scientific reaserch comes from Antarctica like the fact that penguins can swim and igloos can be perfectly made
no, nobody uses pesticide in Antarctica
Actually, it's not up to me to decide. The Antarctic Treaty -- in force since 1960 -- clearly outlines the uses of the continent.
People From Antarctica , Polar North , and other places that have snow in them everyday use huskies.
It depends on your location in Antarctica. Some parts of Antarctica are in the same time zone as the UK. Antarctica is unique in that since portions of it are at every possible longitude, it actually encompasses every time zone. In practice, each base establishes its own time, which may or may not be what you'd expect from its longitude. Halley, a UK base, uses GMT despite not being particularly near the prime meridian (about 26W, which should be GMT-1). Amundsen-Scott (at the south pole, where technically not only the time zone but the date could vary as you walked around the base) uses GMT+12, probably to keep in sync with McMurdo at around 167E which also uses GMT+12. Vostok at just under 107E uses GMT+6; Casey, at 110E, uses GMT+11.
McMurdo station in Antarctica is supported by the United States. However, many other countries leverage the resources there to support their science, too. These other countries include New Zealand, Russia, Italy and more.
Under the terms of the Antarctic Treaty, Antarctica is a continent preserved for science. Governments representing 80% of the population of planet earth have agreed to the terms of the treaty. Many of these governments support scientific research stations and/or scientists who travel to Antarctica to gather data about the health of our planet. They work there temporarily. The treaty specifies that all research is shared among all the signatories to the treaty. This is how mankind uses Antarctica.
