Not that I know of, no Vikings visited Maine (until discovered). As of December 21st 2009, I say no to Vikings in Maine
He visited Maine in 03-Wells and a couple other cities during his first term.
15.75 percent of 1614 = 254.20515.75% of 1614= 15.75% * 1614= 0.1575 * 1614= 254.205
John Smith I think this information is not correct. According to John Smith's "A Description of New England," he arrived at Monhegan, Maine in April of 1614, explored and traded along the coast, and was back in London in October 1614. So, he would have been in what is now called Christmas Cove between those two dates. There are much better sources for such material than the one cited.

1614 km = 1002.893 mi.
There are 1614/3 = 538 yards
The length can be anything greater than or equal to sqrt(1614) = 40.17 feet, and the width any value smaller than that. For a length of 50 feet, let the width be 1614/50 = 32.28 feet. Then the area will be 50*1614/50 = 1614 sq feet. For a width of .01 feet, let the length be 1614/.01 = 161400 feet. Again the area will be 0.01*1614/0.01 = 1614 sq feet.
