Because when Brambleclaw began to ignore her, Squirelflight began paying attention to Ashfur to make Brambleclaw jealous. When Brambleclaw and Squirelflight get together, she leaves Ashfur heartbroken.
How does hawkfrost die in the warriors series?
He dies when Firestar gets stuck in a fox trap and he wants Brambleclaw to kill Firestar so he can be leader. Brambleclaw reacts to his leader instead. Next, Hawkfrost threatens to kill Brambleclaw. He thinks quickly and shakes up the pole from the fox trap. Letting this get tamperd, he grabs the sharp pole and right when Hawkfrost pounces, she nails it right into Hawkfrost's throat.

No. Brambleclaw felt hurt when he found out Squirrelflight was not Lionblaze's, Jayfeather's and Hollyleaf's mother. He felt as she could not trust him, resulting him most likely hating her.I thought they were really good together and its not her fault she was helping her sister and then hollyleaf ruined it. So I'm pretty sure that brambleclaw is mad at her but I dont think he hates her.it's unknown, but probably not, i think because they never really had kits...yes but they don't have kits.

Ashfur seems to have directed his hate to Squirrelflight. It can be assumed he believes that Squirrelflight, opting to choose Brambleclaw over Ashfur, was the one who was at fault. Maybe he thought Brambleclaw was an innocent bystander or something. If he did feel any hatred toward him, it's possible he simply chose to hate Squirrelflight instead, because he still loves her. Love hate situation.
