It tells how the Ten Booms smuggled Jews out into the countryside and abroad. Eventually Corrie and her sister Betsie were caught and sent to Ravensbruck concentration camp. The sisters became separated but held within the same camp. Betsie could not find herself hating the Germans. Corrie lived with hate and resentment until she learned from Betsie how to place her trust in God's will. Corrie miraculously survived to tell the tale and help in the post-war reconstruction of Holland and work tirelessly for reconciliation in Europe.
