I'd also like to add something very interesting that really made him famous. When signing the Declaration Of Independents, you can even look in in museum, that the largest name signed there was"John Hancock". He said that writing it so big would let King George II read it without his glasses on. Later on, his signature became so famous that now adays when people ask for your signature, they might even ask for your "John Hancock"!
