AnswerIn the passage where Stephen was stoned, Acts portrayed Saul as someone not man enough to get involved, but despicable enough to encourage the mob. Overall, Saul is portrayed as an archenemy of Christianity, certainly as a bad person.

The author of acts portrayed Saul in such a way that the reader could have confused him with Saulus, who was described by Josephus as a bad person and an enemy of the Jews. Whether or not this apparent association was intentional, it added to the characterisation of Saul as a particularly disreputable person.

Another answer from our community:"Saul" is the Hebrew name (Sha'ul meaning "asked for or prayed for"). "Paul" is the Greek name (Saoul). "Saul, who is also Paul" (Acts 13:9). The Hebrew name "Saul" may also be referred to as his Jewish name. The Greek name "Paul" may also be referred to as his Roman name.

Saul is the name Acts of the Apostles gives to the Apostle Paul before his first missionary journey. The name is not used by Paul himself, in his own epistles.

Were the original apostles doing such a bad job that Jesus had to bring in Paul to take their place?

Evidently Christianity was growing enough to cause great concern among the Jews. Saul was one of many who was attempting to stem the tide of conversions through persecutions and killings. It was in the course of this employment that Saul was transformed into a believer by the appearance of Christ. The disciple continued the work along with Paul and were not replaced. It takes as many as believe to spread the Gospel.

Are bionics bad?

Bionics aren't good or bad, the science is a tool. The use of any tool is dependent on what the humans using it do with it. A hammer is a tool, you can build a house with it, accidently smash your thumb with it, or kill a person with it; the tool itself gets no credit or blame for the acts of the person.

Why does a person who acts bad always thinks that another person that acts good makes you feel you are not good enough for them even though this person could help you?

* It depends on the individual that feels they are being bad and being helped by a good friend and if the so-called bad person can be mature enough to learn from the good person. It is important that one knows they are not perfect (not even good people) and that we all leave imprints on each person who's lives we touch. A person with bad behavior is having personal problems and should reach out for the help and not feel they are a lesser human being because we are always learning in life and we will make mistakes. If you are lucky enough to have a good person believe in you then reach out to them and change your life. Just like the movie 'Pay It Forward' you learn from this person and then you could help someone else having problems.
