I don't think Erin Hunter really tells us in the books. Plus, Tigerstar is so sneaky that we may never know. I think it might have been when he was with ShadowClan and trying to take over the forest, though.

Tigerstar mates with Sasha because she provides him with love, companionship, and an opportunity to have offspring that could potentially carry on his legacy. Additionally, their relationship allows Tigerstar to feel a sense of power and control over others.

∙ 12y agowell actually i think that tigerstar really did love goldenflower but then goldenflower didnt love him when he became evil tigerstar never loved Sasha although Sasha did love him he was just in it for the kits. I found it sad. Plus, Sasha lead such a hard life, and he only wanted her for Mothwing, Hawkfrost and Tadpole. However, he only got Hawkfrost. Plus, Tigerstar's father was Pinestar, and Pinestar became a kittypet, so Tigerstar got his dislike of kittypets from his father, so maybe he also dislikes Sasha because of this. Yes, I think his true love is Goldenflower.

∙ 11y agoTigerstar had two mates. While in ThunderClan he had kits with Goldenflower. She gave birth to Tawnypelt and Brambleclaw. After being banished from ThunderClan, Tigerstar took a rogue named Sasha as his mate and she gave birth to Hawkfrost and Mothwing.
Tigerstar had 2 mates. First it was Goldenflower who bore him Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt. Then it was Sasha who bore him Hawkfrost and Mothwing.
