There does not seem to be any references to composers in Australia, genius, good, bad or whatever, in the 18th Century. The most famous Australian composer was Percy Granger, whose dates are 1882-1961. Peggy Glanville-Hicks 1912-1090, was also an excellent composer.
British and European were the 2 main immigrant groups. This was back in the 18th century.
Beethoven was a German composer in 18th century. He played the violin and piano. He did not play the saxophone.

William Hayes was a famous British composer of 18th century. He died at the age of 69 in Oxford, England in 1777 of natural causes. At that time the seven years war had ended but British empire was at war in North America.
