Hindus believe in many thing. The basics as in we should always speak the truth and when you do god is on your side of any battle. The scriptures for Hindus were written to help us learn in in and about life. The Bhagvad Gita, for example introduces to us how we should help friends family, be there for people, the rules of karma, the gods are always watching, and they are all around us.Some Hindus believe in many gods, some believe in 1 God, some believe in no gods. The only thing that all Hindus believe in is that they exist, the universe exists, and that karma (known to the west as the law of cause and effect) exists.Respect to God. Humanity. This means that every Hindu can have a god, specifically designed for him. However, theoretically, there can be just seven gods and seven goddesses in Hinduism. Practically, they are lesser.THE BASIC HINDU GODS:They are,1. Indra - god of dreaming2. Shakti - goddess of illusion3. Brahma - god of creativity4. Vishnu - god of stabilization5. Shiva - God of determination6. Shani - god of status change7. Yama - god of compulsionThe seven gods merge to form the supreme Hindu god Brahman. Conversely, the seven gods spring from Brahman. The peripheral gods give less control over our lives but are more powerful. They are meant to be used as a last resort.Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva are main line Hindu gods. Shani and Shakti are second choice. Indra and Yama are supposed to play a role after our death only.BRAHMAN, GODS AND GODDESSES:All the seven gods are made of two elements viz. Saguna Brahman (facilitating force, Purusha, masculine) and Nirguna Brahman (retarding force, Prakriti, feminine). The Prakriti component of a god is what we call goddess.THE GODDESSES:Theoretically, there can be seven Hindu goddesses. However, the consorts of Brahma (Saraswati), Vishnu (Lakshmi) and Shiva (Parvati) and Shakti are the only goddesses. A Hindu depends on Shakti when he is totally helpless.Shakti is considered as feminine even though it has a masculine component. This belief is necessary to prevent the seven gods merging to form Brahman, which would remove our belief in god, because Brahman is absolute fact. Thus, there are just six Hindu gods, though there can be seven.BRAHMAN:Brahman, though considered as the supreme Hindu god, is absolute fact and thus not exactly a god. It is considered as god because all Hindu gods are derived from it. Unlike a god, it doesn't bring about any change in our life and just opposes changes in life. Thus, it can be used only when our life is perfect. Therefore, no Hindu worships Brahman. Thus, there are six gods and four goddesses and a Supreme god in Hinduism. All other gods and goddesses are secondary, derived from the basic Hindu gods and goddesses.
Mahabharata is the rise and the fall of a great empire the part one of the game of dice took place where Bharat was to nominate his successor but he was disappointed in himself because he wanted to nominate his sons but his sons could not be the successor. When Bharat died Santanu became the king of Hastinapur and he got married to Ganga the story took place in Indralok where Ganga and Santanu got cursed by the father of Ganga so Ganga made the promise to the king to never questioned her for drowning her sons but he failed when it came down to the 8th child which she named Devarata and when Devarata and his father were going out for hunting the father got carried away from hunting which he met Satyavati which he wanted to marry and her father prevented because of her horoscope which her sons wanted to rule Hastinapur so Devarata went and he cursed himself after vowing that he will never marry and or have children. So he Honored his father's wishes. Which I understood very cleary, But Amba wanted to marry Devarta which was known as Bhishma, when his teacher wanted him to marry Amba, but he was defeated and Amba was furious so she got reborn to the king of Draupad and again she got reborn to manhood which will be the cause to destroy Bhishma. Then 3 children were born then Bhishma took them to get educated then he came back with them the older one was Dhritarashtra, and the Middle one was Pandu and the last son was Vidura Then Bhishma wanted the older brother Dhritarashtra to be the king so Vidur interfered with his ethics and made Pandu the King and Bhishma went to get Dhritarashtra to get married to Gandhari, Gandhari's evil brother wanted his sister to get married to Pandu instead she got married to Dhritarashtra and she had 100 sons which were the Kauravas and Pandu got married to Prtiha and Madri pritha was known as Kunti and Kunti and madri has 5 sons 1,2,3, sons were Kunti's and 4 & 5 were Madri's sons and kunti also had another son before she got married to Pandu and she did not want to face the reality so she took her son and she said to her son once you come again please forgive her. Her son also got dragged into the darkness and his name was Karna So she had 6 sons but in reailty she had 5. Part one: The game of dice ended their itself. Then it started another part 2: The 2nd game of dice started it was named Growing Rivalry between the Pandavas and the Kauravas and now Bhishma was an old man who takes the responsibilty of rasing the the Pandu's sons and Dhritarashtra's sons. And the cousins was fighting constantly and trying to kill each other. To make this short The wax of house was a conspriacy to burn Pandavas, which pandavas lived and they made strength from Panchal to Virat and Arjuna was married to Draupadi and she will bring destruction to the Karuravas. So Krishna told Arjuna to get married and then he got a son and his son got married and pandavas and the karuravas did not make peace while Krishna was the peace messagener and before the war started Krishna was talking to Karna that said I will take you to your brother's camp and you can rule the world and you will be the king of Indraprastha but he refused so when kunti heard what Krishna wanted to say Kunti said the same thing but he also refused, they went to war and Kauravas lost and pandavas won under Krishna before the war began Krishna went in the middle of the battlefield and he recites the Bhagavad Gita to Arjun then after that he shows his real identity then the war started Every Kauravas were dead then Krishna and his brother Balrama were god they also were cursed by Gandhari when her sons died you could have stopped the war but you did not so I curse you like my dynasty your dynasty will be destroyed so when Krishna was meditating under a tree a hunter came and one arrow shot Krishna and the pandavas learned how Krishna died The pandavas retired to the forest and one by one they all died and then the son or arjun which was the grandson his name was Parkshit ruled and that was the end of Mahabharata
Traditionally it is believed to be around 330 million, but it's really meant to say infinity, as there are many aspects to the many deities found within Hinduism.
