The Allies consisted of Britain, France, the Soviet Union, and, later on in the war, America. They were fighting Nazi Germany and all of the captive countries under Nazi control and Italy. America also fought Japan during the war in the Pacific Ocean. Japan invaded Manchuria and most ports in the South-East region of Soviet Russia.
