Benedict Arnold
Benedict Arnold?
Patriots would tar and feather their neighbours if they suported the British during the war.
He led the army against Britain during the American Revolution.
Enemies of the Revolution.
He was convicted of being opposed to the French Revolution and thus a traitor. He may have been inept and indecisive but that rarely ranks as a Capital offense.
being the commander of the first continental army during the american revolution
The person is being called a traitor, untrustworthy, disloyal. See early American History.
The word "traitor" is 'uragirimono' in Japanese.
I believe it's Benedict Arnold, he was by far the best general in american history. Sadly, all he is remembered for is being a traitor. He was the hero at more than 4 battles. Without him we don't win the revolution. He kept us alive in the revolution multiple times. He was the hero at the Battle of Saratoga, which was the turning point of the revolution, which offically got the French on our side, but never got the credit he deserved.
Benedict Arnold was a high ranking member of the Continental Army during the American Revolution. When he was appointed the commander of the fort of West Point, his plot to turn the fort over to the British was discovered. Arnold was able to escape to the British side and avoid being tried as a spy.
Well, it was before the American Revolution that they revolted. The Patriots revolted because they were being taxed so much and they got tired of it, so they decided to throw the Boston Tea Party.
George Washington was called a hero after the American revolution because he was shot at 4 times and instead of being hit the bullets went through his jacket. The fact that he survived was where he was then named a hero
