Loretta Young was married three times in her life.

In 1930 at 17 she was making a movie with Grant Withers. They began a relationship and in late January they went to Arizona to get married. Her mother found out and sent Loretta's step-father to pick her up. They ended up getting divorced about a year later.

In the late 1930's during a low ebb in her carrer she met businessman Thomas Lewis. They married during the summer of 1941 and had two sons Christopher Paul and Peter Charles in the mid 1940's. Things were not all hunky dory though and after years of semi-unemployment Tom Lewis left to work on the East coast because he was sick of basically being Mr. Loretta Young. They were still technically married for a while, but in the early 1960's they divorced very bitterly.

In the early 1990's Loretta tried her hand at marriage again. She married Jean Louis whom she had known for many years (and who had been married to Loretta's friend.) They were married for about 5 years before his death.
