In every interview I've read, he has always claimed he never attended college or university but focused on his music career. I am surprised he would attend an out-of-state school in Texas when he is such a big Univ. of Georgia fan.

There are many fine music schools such as Julliard and Rutgers, but you might want to check colleges/universities in the area you live or plan to work. UNC, University of Georgia, and University of Miami are good examples of this.
