Odysseus [sic] was the hero of the Odyssey and a major character in the Iliad. In the stories, he was the Greek king of Ithaca. It was his idea to build the Trojan Horse. After the fall of Troy, his journey home to Ithaca was a ten-year series of epic adventures, and it is for those travails that he is most famous.
