I think that I found the one you mean... a horizontal version that seems to be a picture of after Judas Iscariot left the meal. Addition: The reference to Luke 22 is misleading: In Luke 22:21 Jesus says:'Behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table'. And as the question implies, the custom is to portray 12 apostles in paintings of the 'Last Supper'. But it is true that Dürer includes only 11 apostles in the woodcut of 1523.
Durer was born in 1471 in Germany. He lived to be 57 years. Unfortunately, Durer died in 1528.
