John St. John (born February 25, 1833 in Franklin County, Indiana; died August 31, 1916 in Olathe, Kansas) succeeded George T. Anthony as the eighth Governor of Kansas, serving between January 13, 1879 and January 8, 1883, including the whole of 1882.
