Harding as the twenty-third Governor of Iowa, serving between January 13, 1921 and January 15, 1925. Following the end of Kendall's term as Governor, John Hammill (born October 14, 1875 in Linden, Wisconsin; died April 6, 1936 in Britt, Iowa) became the twenty-fourth Governor of Iowa, serving between January 15, 1925 and January 15, 1931.
