James T. Morehead (born May 24, 1797 in Bullitt County, Kentucky; died December 28, 1854 in Covington, Kentucky) succeeded John Breathitt as the twelfth Governor of Kentucky, serving between February 21, 1834 and August 31, 1836, including the whole of 1835.
