Charles C. Stephenson (born February 20, 1826 in Phelps, New York; died September 21, 1890 in Carson City, Nevada) succeeded Jewett W. Adams as the fifth Governor of Nevada, serving between January 3, 1887 and September 21, 1890, including the whole of 1889.
