Coles Bashford (born January 24, 1816 in Cold Spring, New York; died April 25, 1878 in Prescott, Arizona Territory) succeeded Arthur MacArthur Sr. as the fifth Governor of Wisconsin, serving between March 25, 1856 and January 4, 1858, including the whole of 1857.
