The Romans had a Goddess of the dawn ~ Aurora. I don't think they had a God of the dawn. The only other God I can think of who might fit would be Apollo ~ their Sun God.

In Greek mythology, Eos (Roman Aurora) is the beautiful goddess of the Dawn. She is the daughter of Hyperion and Thea, sister of Helios and Selene, or the sun and the moon. She had flame-colored hair, white wings, and rosy fingers. Each morning, she rode her chariot across the sky to announce the coming of her brother, the sun. She is commonly referred to as "The child of morning, rosy-fingered Eos (Dawn)."

In Hindu mythology, Ushas is the Goddess of the Dawn. She remains eternally young while men grow old. The night is dark and deep when Ushas rises and her mother, the sky, begins to adorn her. She uses hope to cloth her, life to anoint her with and light for her ornaments. Ushas is also known as Usha - the name is cognate with the Greek name Eos.

In Egyptian mythology, the goddesses of the sky in general is Nut. She deal with all things of the sky we see, including dawn, dusk, stars and sun.
