His coronation date was 20th February 1547 but he began his reign on 28th January of the same year. However he only reigned for six years before dying in 1553.

After which time Lady Jane Grey was crowned queen as requested by the late king. But she only ruled for nine days and was executed upon the orders of Mary I in the Tower of London.

Then it was the turn of Mary and then her half sister, Elizabeth I (the last Tudor Monarch).
