Simeon (Luke 2:25-32)
Simon recognized Him as the Messiah when Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the temple to be consecrated to the Lord. Matt. 2:21-35.
Christians believe that Jesus was the Jewish Messiah. Jews disagree.
When Jesus was brought to the temple as a baby, a man named Simeon recognized him as the Messiah.
Many followers of Jesus recognized him as the Messiah, including his disciples, Mary Magdalene, and other early Christians.
The Jews do not recognize Jesus of Nazareth as the Messiah, they are still waiting for the Messiah to come.

Neither. He is a Muslim prophet. Judaism does not recognized Jesus as anything more than a heretic. Christianity recognizes Jesus as the Son of God / Messiah and he is, therefore, far more than a prophet.
The Christian concept of messiah does not exist in Judaism, regardless of Jewish sect. No Jew believes that Jesus was a moshiach.
