Victoria falls WA found on November 16,1855 I might add, David Livingstone, the Scottish missionary and explorer, is believed to have been the first European recorded to view the Victoria Falls. He was in the area of Zambia and Zimbabwe where the falls are located. He died in 1873.
Dr. David Livingstone, of Blantyre, Scotland, was the first white man to discover " Mosi-oa-Tunya" - Shona or Bemba for the 'Waters that thunder' in 1855. He named them Victoria Falls in honour of his Queen.
