Enoch was the preacher Jude1:14,15 Now Enoch the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these also saying "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousandsof HIS saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all harsh things whichungodly sinners have have spoken against HIM.
We are still in "Bible times." Perhaps the first preacher was Abel... although only his "animal sacrifices" are recorded and not any alleged preaching.
If not Abel, Enoch is recorded to have prophesied of Christ's coming:
"...Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints..." (Jude 1:14).
If Enoch's prophesying doesn't count as preaching... then, for sure, Noah:
"...Noah the eighth person, a PREACHER OF RIGHTEOUSNESS..." (II Peter 2:5).
Righteousness, according to The Bible, being the Ten Commandments: "...for ALL THY COMMANDMENTS ARE RIGHTEOUSNESS." (Ps.119:172)
According to the Bible - Noah preached "righteousness"... the Ten Commandments... to the pre-flood world.
The very First preacher was Adam! Preacher means Teacher/Rabbi someone who teaches others God's ways. He taught his wife and children, teach your children diligently: Deuteronomy 6:4-9 4 (The Shema) 'Hear, O Israel: YAHVEH our Elohim(God) YAHVEH is ONE:
5 And you shall love YAHVEH your Elohim(God) with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. 6 And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: 7 And you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walt by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 And you shall write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates. (and your shall love your neighbor as yourself!
So we all are suppose to be a Preacher to our wife & kids.
