If you think of it it may be Marco Polo, that is the one that made the contact after several hundreds years, the mongols have on the other side contacted the Europeans by invading and plunder. and then agen I believe if it is the culture (when the Europeans learned about it) that was Marco Polo. when he traveled to China, common knowledge.
but we never really lost the contact, cause of the silk road, where silk was transported trough the continent in caravans. of course the owner of the goods was changed on the road.
so my conclusion must be Marco Polo. of course he was sett in jail cause they believed he was lying.^^
the first Asian come to America came in 1843
History often shapes the culture by causing people to come in contact with other cultures. When this happens, the cultures are changed because of that contact.
the first Asian come to America came in 1843
very important
There are misconceptions of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders belonging to a single Asian American culture because they look similar. However, their cultures are very different as they come from different parts of the world.
As Alexander the Great built his empire, he came into contact with a diverse array of cultures, including the Greek city-states, the Persian Empire, and various Central Asian tribes. His conquests extended into regions such as Egypt, where he encountered ancient Egyptian culture, and further into India, interacting with local kingdoms and philosophies. This blending of cultures led to the Hellenistic period, characterized by the fusion of Greek and Eastern influences in art, science, and religion. Alexander's policies encouraged cultural exchange, promoting a legacy that shaped the regions he conquered.
Safari, African, Asian are the first that come to mind.
The first known mermaid stories originated in Assyria.
the Asian flu originated from a mutation in wild ducks combining with a human strain of virus. it first broke out in Singapore, but then was found in hongkong.
When a human or humans first make communications or physical contact with an alien life-form from a distant planet. The motif is not a new one as it is similar to tales of exploration, where explorers come into contact with different cultures, which have happened through-out human history. The major difference would be that the degree of separation between the two cultures is potentially greater than anything we have encountered before. Difficulties in language and inter-communication are reduced to a commonality in physical laws and perhaps mathematics alone.
History helps define culture as those who live within a culture learn from historical events (hopefully).
In the Asian Communities, many still want to have an arranged marriage and therefore do not wish to have a relationship prior to marriage. In many Asian cultures Asian men are taught to treat women like sisters prior to marriage. Also religion maybe a factor. Many Asian people only want relationships with people of the same religion. Endogamony in South Asian cultures is still very high (even in the West). Another factor maybe that girls who have dated outside the endogamous group maybe seen as being of loose moral character, and therefore the engoamous Asian group males, may consciously wish to avoid dating a girl of that nature.
