11 When Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the royal heirs. 2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him away from among the king's sons who were being murdered; and they hid him and his nurse in the bedroom, from Athaliah, so that he was not killed. 3So he was hidden with her in the house of the Lord for six years, while Athaliah reigned over the land.
She was never appointed to rule over Judah but refused to allow her baby grandson to rule, instead assuming the throne for herself - short lived as it was.

The story of Deborah is found in Judges 4:4.
It states in verse 4 ....."Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lapidoth, was judging Israel at that time and she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the mountains of Ephraim. And the children of Israel came up to her for judgement."
