There was no Hero of Time before the Link in Ocarina of Time. Link IS the Hero of Time. But the Link before Link in Ocarina of Time is the first Link to use the Master Sword, and he's in Skyward Sword. Confusing?
Yes, he is
He is not a time lord he is the Hero of Time and the Hero of Winds(Wind Waker)
His pants are orange before you get the hero's clothes.
The heroes are named Link in reference to other heroes going by the same name or past heroes that had gone by the same name. The "Hero of Time" from Ocarina of Time is the most referenced hero as he was the greatest hero saving Hyrule from the devastating power of Ganondorf. It's also a way to link themselves with said heroes and keeping the tradition alive of clothing boys in heroic clothes and allowing them to wield weapons and quite possibly save the world just like heroes before them.
link is a person <(:)<--< ---------------------- My answer : Link was the fearless hero in all of the Legend Of Zelda games. Most popular, i believe, is Ocarina of time. And yes, they are Nintendo games.
"Forbush Man" ~ See related link below .
It is possible as The hero's shade uses a sword and shield which look like the gilded sword and the mirror shield from majoras mask. Also the Hero's shade calls TP link his child and at the beginning of twilight princess Link already has the triforce of courage but it is not mentioned how he got it so its possible that the Heros shade had the triforce of courage and passed it to link and watched over him as TP Link furfilled his role as the hero
Just to set the record straight, in Skyward Sword, the Chosen Hero, Link is proven that he marries Zelda. in Ocarina of Time, fans assumes the Hero of Time marries Malon because Malon is not a Sage. And in Twilight Princess, fans were complaining about Midna's Return, and even if she did return to the Light Realm, or the Hero of Twilight, comes back to the Twilight Realm, Link and Midna will be proven to get married.
Link
Yes. Duuuuu.
Link (Your Character)
No. Most of the Legend of Zelda series revolve around boys that either imitate the famous heroes before them like the "Hero of Time" by wearing green clothes and wielding swords. However some of the series games involve the same Link. In Majora's Mask the "Hero of Time" Link from Ocarina of Time returns to his childhood state and goes on a journey to find his lost friend fairy Navi and gets lost into a whole new world called Termina. Several games interconnect such as the possiblity that the "Hero of Time" Link is the Stalfos swordsman in Twilight Princess that teaches the other Link new sword techniques. Other than those three games each game features a different Link. On the flip side the alternate version of Link known as Toon Link who stars in Wind Waker has two other roles in Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. In this alternate timeline the same Link is used for three different games and don't have anything to do with any previous Link's.
