There has been many kings, we had a linage of 33 kings succeeding one after another. before the kings of Tibet, there were kings in every region. tibet was later ruled by Chinese dynasties and mongalian dynasties. In around 15th Century we had first Dalai Lama, presently leader of Tibet is 14th Dalai Lama.

this is just a bleak knowledge I have.
