mariner 10
We don't know who first saw the planet Mercury. Mercury can be seen with the naked eye, and it was known to ancients. It is a sure bet that when prehistoric people looked up at certain times, they saw Mercury (tho' they didn't know what it was at the time. There were ancients who recognized it as a "night visitor" that sort of looked like stars, but was brighter and did not move the same way the rest of the stars moved. Certainly they suspected something, but didn't have the tools to go far with it.
Mercury was the fastest-moving of the "wandering stars" or "planetes" known to the ancient world; and so it was associated with the Greek god Hermes and the Roman god Mercurius, both believed to be wing-footed messengers travelling swiftly through the worlds of both gods and humans. We call the planet Mercury because our language is more closely related to the Latin of the Romans than to the language of the Greeks.
The person who fist saw planet Uranus is WilliamHerschel.Actually John Flamsteed saw it first, but he didn't realiseit was a planet.
Neptune! There's Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter Saturn, Uranus, Neptune! I saw Mercury then Venus. I saw the Earth then Mars then Jupiter and then Saturn. Uranus then Neptune!
Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn can all be seen with the naked eye. So no one knows when a person looked into the sky and saw them.
Mercury was discovered visually by looking at the sky shortly before sunrise or shortly after sunset. It was discovered in antiquity.
The Mariner 10 has visited mercury 3 times. Its major mission was to photograph Venus but got off orbit and ended up photographing Mercury. After orbiting the sun it met up with Mercury again in 176 days. In another 6 months the Mariner 10 saw Mercury again. All of this happend between 1974-1975.
Planet Jupiter can be seen without a telescope. It has been watched by men since prehistoric times.
Mohammed (SAW) is the messenger of Allah
Scientists have studied Mercury using telescopes and spacecraft, such as NASA's MESSENGER mission. By analyzing the planet's surface features, composition, and magnetic field, scientists have been able to determine key characteristics like its high density, lack of atmosphere, and extreme temperature variations.
messenger of Allah , sent to deliver the message of Islam
John Flamsteed, but he thought it was a star. William Herschel discovered it again later and identified it as a planet.
