Arbutnot and Ambrister were two English chaps put on trial in 1818 for "incitement of the Creek Indians and the levying of war against the United States in violation of the law of nations and the laws of war." See Paust, Bassiouni, et al., International Criminal Law 279-80 (2 ed. 2000).
