The Allied Powers, Axis powers, and the Neutral Powers
The neutral powers in world war 2 were Switzerland, New Zealand, Paraguay, Ireland, Sweden, Angola, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico.
Sweden was neutral during World War 2.
Switzerland was neutral during World War 2.
Neutral Powers throughout World War 2: Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

The war consisted of 3 sides axis,allies,and countries that were neutral(about 5 or less) the axis powers had Germany,Italy,japan,France and china which were both forced into the axis powers while the allies had America and the rest of the world(except the neutral countries.
Not at war
I believe that the government at that time, wanted to side with the Axis powers, however, they remained neutral. Later on the war, it was looking like that the Allied powers were going to win, so I believe that's why.
Switzerland, and Netherlands were neutral during world war 2
After World War 2, the United States of America and the Soviet Union became the dominant world powers.
