The Stuarts were a European Royal House founded in Scotland. They ruled Scotland from 1390 to 1567 and Great Britain from 1657 to 1702.

James 1 (James VI of Scotalnd), Charles 1, Charles II, and James II were Kings of England but called themselves Kings of Great Britain although the title had no basis in law until the Act of Union in1707.

Mary II and Ann were the last 2 Stuart monarchs.
