If by 'important' you mean rich and famous there were many. The wealthiest couple on board the ship was by far John Jacob Astor and his second wife Madeline who were returning from an extended honeymoon. Madeline was 5months pregnant and survived the disaster but her husband perished.
If however by 'important' you mean (as I would) each individual life on board, then there were in excess of 2200 staff and passengers aboard (including the unborn).
2,208 people were on Titanic when she sailed.
Some people belive there are spirits abord the Titanic, but personaly I belive there isn't because the spirits must move on right? So in theory no spirits are abord the Titanic, that's that! Thanks ;)

An abord is a manner of approaching, accosting, or addressing someone.

Obviously! RMS Titanic was the biggest boat in its time and there were a lot of important people on it so of course it was awesome!
