The Seneca Falls Convention was held in July 1848 in Seneca Falls, New York, to address the social, civil, and religious rights of women. It aimed to advocate for women's suffrage and equality, marking the first women's rights convention in the United States. The event catalyzed the women's rights movement by bringing attention to issues like voting rights and gender inequality, culminating in the drafting of the Declaration of Sentiments, which outlined the grievances and demands of women.
They worked together by doing this: Each of the five tribes (the Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Oneida, and Mohawk) chose 50 representatives (all men) to a great council. The council then made decisions for the league. then the older women chose and could remove the representatives. hope this helps!!!!!!!!
The Cayuga tribe were farmers. Cayuga women planted crops of corn, beans, and squash and harvested wild berries and herbs. Cayuga men hunted deer and elk and fished in the rivers and on the shores of Lake Ontario. Cayuga Indian recipes included cornbread, soups, and stews, which they cooked on stone hearths. Hope it helps.
