When Charles ascends to the throne, it is most likely that William will become Prince of Wales,in which case whomsoever he marries, assuming they are entitled to become princess (not previously married etc). But they shouldn't be alloed to the the 'Price/ess' of Wales as they are not Welsh!!!

∙ 6y agoIf Elizabeth II dies before anyone else in the immediate line of succession does, then Prince Charles will become King and his eldest son Prince William would become the heir apparent. However, the title of Prince of Wales is not heritable and merges with the Crown upon the accession to the throne of the former titleholder; Charles would have to specifically grant William the title (he doesn't get it automatically). Charles himself didn't become Prince of Wales for several years after he became heir apparent, but he was a very young child at the time; it seems likely that Charles would create William Prince of Wales fairly quickly after assuming the throne.
