What is the basic frame work of roads electric wires water and gas pipes fiber optic cables etc.?
The maximum transmission speed for fiber optic is about 186000 miles per second. Wires are a bit slower because of transmission line effects
Fiber optic cables utilize glass or plastic fibers instead of metal wires to transmit data. A fiber optic cable allows for a higher rate of the transmission of data, which is good for things like the internet.
I would look at Wal-Mart or Best Buy for optic wires. They should sell them.
Fiber optic wires along the ocean transfer the information in the form of pulses of laser.
ADSL is a way of using a pair of copper wires which is normally used for a phone line, to transfer high volumes of data. The copper wires were only originally designed to carry a phone call.Fibre optic cables are especially designed to transfer high volumes of data. They are made of glass, not copper wires.

In the twisted pair cable connection, the communication occurs over wires which offer resistance that make the connection slow. However, the fiber optic connection uses cylindrical glass that does not have any resistance making it the fastest connection channel.
I own a 4' Fiber Optic Tree. Inside the base, at the bottom, center, is a one piece light and refractor. 2 screws hold light down. Light is approx. 1 1/2" wide. I bought a replacement bulb at the Home Depot. Bulb 20watt,22va,60hz. Good Luck.
Fiber optic cable has higher data transmission rate compare to twisted-pair cable.Twisted pair cables (or common telephone wires) are composed of individual pairs of copper wires that are insulated by plastic and twisted together. These wire pairs are then bundled together into one cable then covered by a plastic or lead insulator. Whereas, Fibre Optic Cables are composed of lightweight, hair-thin strands of plastic or glass that use light as a conductor of data transmission signals. Electrical signals must be translated into pulses of light that are sent over the optical fiber by a light source such as a laser or a Light Emitting Diode (LED). The individual fiber optic strands are covered in such a way as to minimize loss of light on the line. - Jvy (MKJB)
When used in terms of fiber optics, cable pulling is the act of pulling cables through wires while installing fiber optic services to a building or neighborhood. Some cable pulling can be done by hand and some requires special tools of the trade such as pulling grips.
Fibre optic cables are used to transmit data using light rather then electricity. Because there are many colours of light, fibre optic cables are very effective medium for this, they can transmit allot of information at once.
