The cobras generally have a much more potent venom than rattlesnakes. However, there are other snakes, such as the saw-scaled viper and Russell's viper, which are even deadlier. Sea snakes are even more potent but are rare to bite.

its a 50 50 fight,mongose are sometimes immune to snake bites.xzample there are very few ,veryfew people in the world who are immun to snake bites,i have seen the documentarys etc,normally if it is young mongose it could kill the snake first,then it would die from the venom, which will result in a draw.

It would appear that a common term for the Atlas moth is the 'cobra butterfly' this could be because the wings are similar in appearance to a cobra snake.
