For all of Tony Starks genius, Green Laterns ring is the most powerful energy source in the universe, he can traverse space, Ironman cannot. Green Lanterns power is only limited to what use his mind can think of for his ring, If he wants a space ship, he can do it, if he whats to make a giant drill to drill through worlds, his ring can do it, If he wants to make his own suit of armor(with armor that is far superior), his ring could do it. Ironmans most powerful weapon would be his photon cannon, but even this at full strength will not break through green lanterns sheild. Could be a one-sided fight, unless Ironman catches GL off-gaurd, but then, it won't be a true fight.
