well... it was attualy won by two very famous people. In 1923, Beefy Bungalow and Lilie Tee wanted to join a road march in trinidad and ened up winning it. Ha Ha Ha. It was a barrel of laughs. later on in that year, former member of halifax (hairy sack) invented the road march to be taken place each year. It is celebrated by everyone eating ring.
As of March 2015, Trinidad and Tobago won Miss World once - it was Giselle Laronde in 1986.
In 1996, Alison Hinds won the Barbados Carnival Road March with her song "Raggamuffin".
