spartan he just blocks & sticks his spear out &/or grabs his sword & chops off the pirate's head. Under certain circumstances a spartan can defeat a pirate bare handed. if the pirate has a gun but spartan knows what it can do spartan just runs up & stabs him or throws his spear before pirate can pull out the gun.
