Do you mean BEFORE his fight with Itachi or after he killed Itachi and Madara explained why Itachi did it? If you mean before Sasuke fought Itachi: He wanted power, enough to kill his brother for slaughtering their clan. If you mean after Madara explains Itachi's reasons to him: Sasuke now hates the elders for ordering Itachi to kill his family. He also hates Konoha for keeping the Uchiha clan separate from the rest of Konoha and closely monitored.

Itachi. Ulquiorra wouldn't be able to escape a Genjutsu. I'm pretty sure you need chakra to escape a genjutsu, and Hollow energy wont work. :p
