Yes. Foxes are primarily solo hunters. Unlike other canines such as dogs and wolves, their main prey is small animals - they are not physically capable of tackling another predator of relatively similar size with such fighting ability. In most cases involving cat and dog fights, even with differences in size, cats are better equipped at fighting - they have claws, teeth, greater agility, speed, evasion and can also use their back legs to attack - there are few positions a cat would be in where it couldn't be a danger to its oppenent. Dogs rely on their teeth, strength and stamina. Foxes, unlike wolves and large dogs would not have the brute strength to resist a cat's attack or defence.
In cases where cats have been killed by foxes, as rare as they are, the likelihood is that the foxes may have been in a rare situation where they could outnumber the cat that has gotten itself into an unusual and vulnerable situation, or where the cat is injured or very young, thus making it a more likely target.
However, as these animals do not consider each other prey (they both hunt small mammals), they would most likely give each other a wide berth. In the rare cases where they would actually come into physical contact, the cat would most likely see off the fox.
Relatively speaking, foxes pose little threat to cats.
no because foxes are wild animals and cats are taimed animals and foxes are most likely to win
The wolf is large, agile, strong, and intelligent; wolves are more used to hunting and taking down animals larger than themselves. There was once a pack of wolves that fended off 3 grizzlies before, and do not forget the wolf's stamina, they can be persistent when fending or hunting.
A fox is smaller, swift, and smart; foxes hunt animals smaller than themselves, or scavenge for food. But as I was saying just go to link in bold it has most of the answers to evaluate.
well it depends on the dog some might be able to. Some well would be terminated in 3.2.1 poof gone
the wolf will destroy and rip that lame excuse of a canine up
No the cat is too clever.
A red fox would typically not fight against a powerful opponent like a wolf. But in a situation where fleeing was not possible, the wolf would kill the fox, there is no contest. A typical red fox weighs 7 kilograms on average, which is little more than a domestic cat. An average grey wolf weighs in at around 38 kilograms, and is almost twice as tall, and as long.
It would go after a cat but they are fast and can climb trees better than a fox
Because even though the fox killled the cat, he would mourn his soul and thanks the cat for giving his lufe to the fox.
Megan Fox
Obviously a fox. What kind of idiot would ask a question like that?
Fennec fox cuz they RULE!
Cats and mongooses come in a variety of species and sizes, so it is impossible to say if either would win in a fight. Your average-sized mongoose would not win in a fight against your average sized-cat. However, the largest mongoose would most likely win in a fight against the largest domestic cat. (This is assuming that it is a fight between a domestic cat and a white-tailed mongoose, which is also cat-sized.) A mongoose by far. Mongoose are very agile, and although not as agile as cats, they may be stronger than average cats, so if a mongoose were to be able to strike a cat in a good position, like the neck, the mongoose would win. Mongoose have very sharp teeth, which are not as sharp as a cat's. The average housecat would kill a mongoose in a serious confrontation.
Cat-fox was created in 2005.
no! a cat may kill a buzzard ..ALSO A FOX CANT KILL A HEALTHY CAT
Fox = canine, Cat=Feline.
It would be a spectacular fight to behold. Though Taz has the advantage of brute, wild force, he's not so bright. Fox, with her brains and fighting skills, would ultimately defeat Taz.
