bam margera, rodney mullen is a legend but he basically needs a picnic table to do all of his tricks. bam is amazing at mini ramp and bowl
There is no way to compare the 2 because they skate totally different style- Tony Hawk is a very skater and Rodney Mullen is freestyle or street. I would say they are each equally prolific in in their own right, both pioneers of what is modern day skateboarding. There is not one trick that skaters do today that wasn't either created by one of them, or isnt a variation of one of their creations. They share the title as Best Skater Ever in my book (Although personally Rodney Mullen is my favorite skater)
He got his first board when he was 10 years old, But his dad(who was a doctor) thought he would get hurt, his first injury meant he would have to quit skateboarding. His dad kept telling him to quit and go finish University, until the skate company's started sending them money for sponsers so his dad dicided let him skate.
they both have different types of skateboadering but if you where to compare the both it would be Rodney mullen because hes has a different type of skateboarding wich is straight manuals all the the time but he can also go street like pj ladd and yetrodney mullen beets pj ladd so he wins definetly no offense to pj laddbecause he also come out with some amazing tricks off and onto thing that i thout would be impoassible but Rodney mullen is just trick after trick after trick he is king of manuals
He owns Almost...Their boards are made in china and he makes money off his name...A better board would be a Real, Foundation, Toy Machine, Krooked...Just because someone rides a certain brand doesn't make it good...Just look at birdhouse.
no, because when Rodney mullen invented the trick, people thought it would be impossible, thus giving it its name. and yes, a hard flip is hard to do.
if this were a personal question then it would depend on if you like street or vert better. then it depends on whos style you like best because Stevie Williams has a way different style than tony hawk or Rodney mullen. so its up to you, but, if this were a question of who honestly is the best then it depends on who can do more and whos more consistant. this means someone who can tre flip day or night is better than someone who can sometimes ollie. so id say Rodney mullen or tony hawk (even though tony is mainly famous for his games.) would qualify. but it would be hard to say so unless they have a whole skate comp to find out, you would have to rely on video parts or something to find out. so its kinda hard to say.for DGK:derrick wilson
The person with the best kickflips is either Mike Mo Capaldi OR Chris Cole OR Lizard King. Check them out and then decide for yourself (I would say Rodney Mullen, but since he INVENTED the trick it's not fair!)
Either Rodney Mullen, or some crazy European freestyler. Either way, it was a freestyler who did it first. Jason Lee was probably one of the first to attempt and execute on a big deck. Rodney mullen was the first to do it. me made it as well and he also made the kickflip heelflip rail stance varial flip 360 nollie and others. go to rodneymullen.net and it shows all of his tricks.
maybe it depends if u see him . hes always at the granite run and king of prussia mall . and hes at all the local westchester skateparks / skate shops im sure u would run into him or one of his friends /family .
I would say if you were using them for show rather then skate buy etnies but skate rather then show buy vans
yes. It would seem logical that if you're going to play "ICE" hockey , one would have to be able to skate.
Of course it is opinion but a majority of people say Skate 1 is better. On Skate 1 you can get more board sponsors and the physics of skating are more realistic on Skate 1. However Skate 1 slightly lacks the quality of the graphics that Skate 2 has in store. Skate 1 is cheaper than Skate 2 as it was an earlier release. Skate 1 I would say is the better game but that is a matter of opinion.
