Jeff Chandler - "This song was written by Jeff Chandler. He is a great guy and leads worship at a church near us in Georgia. What a moment, when we realize that God is not a book, and we can have a relationship with Him. I believe he captured that moment in this song." - Mark Hall (Casting Crowns)

Nirvana - You Know You're Right
I don't know exact (millions probably), but I do know they make a lot between the concerts they do, the millions of records they sell, as well as the money all seven members make from being all youth pastors too. Actually, the members of Casting Crowns make their main job/ priority as being youth pastors. Casting Crowns is just really their like side-job! Isn't that incredible? I think so...GREAT BAND and so real!

They were "discovered" in 2002-2003 because the cds they were passing out to their students in their youth group(s) found its way to Steven Curtis Chapman(singer- Christian legend) and Mark Miller (Provident Label Group). All seven members of Casting Crowns are still currently all youth pastors.
Melanie Hall, Mark Hall's wife, isn't in the band. She is the band's road manager. As far as I know, she doesn't play any instruments, not publicly at least.

"'Here I Go Again' is a prayer we all pray as we're walking up to the friend we've always known who we needed to share our faith with, and then we choke. We know the answers, we have the training and the education far beyond our obedience, and the time comes to share our lives with somebody and fear takes the words out of our mouths. It's my frustration from my own cowardice at times." - Mark Hall (Casting Crowns) 2 Corinthians 5:16-21/ Romans 10:14
