"Satyamev jayte" is the national sentence of India.
India's emblem was adopted January 26, 1950. On that day that India also became a republic.The emblem itself is entitled " Ashoka Stambh", which is four lions standing opposite to each other over a circular abacus. Only 3 of which are visible.Underneath the lions, is the "Ashoka Chakra" which has 24 spokes with a running horse to its left and a bull to its right.Below the emblem are the words "Satyamev Jayte" which translated means "truth always prevails".Interesting India fact: India experiences six seasons: summer, autumn, winter, spring, summer monsoon, and winter monsoon
